About the beach
An open-sea beach with no direct urban influence, with a very long stretch of sand framed by pine forest and a vegetated dune system. It is reached by a tarmac road through the pines from the village of Torrão do Lameiro. It is known as a fishermen's beach. The sea is often rough and calls for caution; in summer, fog is common.
