1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Portugal Travel Hub (available at portalturismoportugal.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any of these terms, you must not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Portugal Travel Hub is a tourism information platform dedicated to Portugal. We provide:

• Beach information, including water quality, tides and available facilities
• Conditions and forecasts for surfing, fishing and beach activities
• Live webcams of beaches and coastal destinations
• Destination and regional guides for mainland Portugal and the islands
• A directory of certified partners (hotels, restaurants and experiences)
• A Pro plan with advanced features via subscription

3. User Account

To access advanced features, you may create a free account. By doing so:

• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your password and for all activity carried out under your account
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• You may not create accounts on behalf of third parties without their authorisation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Pro Plan and Subscriptions

The Pro plan is a subscription service giving access to premium features. Subscriptions are processed by LemonSqueezy, acting as Merchant of Record. By subscribing:

• Payment is securely processed by LemonSqueezy, subject to their own terms
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Cancellation can be made at any time and takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact us if you have any questions

5. Acceptable Use

When using the platform, you agree not to:

• Post false, misleading or defamatory content
• Attempt to access restricted areas or other users' data
• Use automated systems to extract data (scraping) without prior written authorisation
• Interfere with the normal operation of the platform
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

6. Intellectual Property

All original content of Portugal Travel Hub — including text, design, source code, logo and brand — is our property or that of our licensors and is protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution or commercial use without prior written authorisation is not permitted.

Beach and destination images displayed on the platform are provided under appropriate licences (Unsplash and partners). Each image retains the rights of its respective author.

7. Accuracy of Information

We strive to keep information up to date and accurate. However:

• Beach conditions (water quality, tides, flags) can change rapidly — always consult local authorities (APA, IPMA) before visiting
• Partner opening hours and prices are subject to change without prior notice
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the platform

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Portuguese law, Portugal Travel Hub shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including damages arising from travel decisions based on information provided on the platform.

9. Partners and External Links

The platform may include links to third-party websites or information provided by partners. We do not control such external content and assume no responsibility for it. The inclusion of a partner in the directory does not constitute unconditional endorsement.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page, with the new date indicated. For significant changes, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute arising from the use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts, without prejudice to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
