One of our links, opened up.

When you click a booking button on the site, the link carries two extra pieces of information: who sent you and which page you came from. The price is not in the link. Pick a partner to see.

Where it goes

Stay22, which opens Booking.com around the beach.

Who sent it

aid=kaptarstudio is the site’s code. That is how the partner knows who to pay.

Where it came from

campaign says it came from the guide, on the Benagil card. It tells us which pages help.

What it does not carry

No price, discount or personal data. The price is what the partner shows everyone.

Price in the link: none

Every partner link is marked as “sponsored”. It is the official way to tell Google and other search engines that a link is commercial. And every booking block says, under the button, that the commission costs you nothing.

The only place where you can pay to appear.

In the business directory (surf schools, boats, tours) a listing is free. Businesses on a paid plan appear first in their region, and the site always tells you which ones they are.

A “Partner” label on every paid placement.
Customers deal with the business directly. The site takes no commission.
Beaches, guides and maps never have paid placements.

Straight answers

Do I pay more if I book through the site?

No. The price is the partner’s, the same whether you arrive through the site or go direct. The commission comes out of the partner’s side.

Can I book without using your link?

Yes. Use the site to choose and book wherever you like. We only earn when the booking goes through our link.

Why these partners and not others?

They are large companies with public reviews and good cancellation terms on many bookings. If a partner stops serving travellers well, it comes off the site.

Who is behind the site?

Portal Turismo Portugal is a Kaptar project, run from Portimão in the Algarve.

Now you know how it works, plan away.

Pick the beach, the area and the dates. Book each thing wherever you like.

No sign-up. No cost.
