Furadouro Sul is a natural beach of fine sand about 400 metres from the southern edge of Furadouro, in Ovar, with wooden footpaths and a raised boardwalk over the dunes.

Furadouro Sul is a natural beach of fine sand about 400 metres from the southern edge of Furadouro, in Ovar, with wooden footpaths and a raised boardwalk over the dunes. It has been a supervised bathing water since 2024, opened to ease the lack of space on Furadouro's erosion-hit beaches. A lifeguard is on duty in the bathing season, from 13 June to 15 September, and it gets busy in July and August. Coastal fog is frequent in summer. Water quality was rated Excellent in 2025.
