About the beach

An open-sea beach with a long stretch of sand, flanked by dunes and pine forest, which also takes in the section by the Cortegaça campsite to the south. In the bathing season it has lifeguards, a bar, a restaurant, showers, sunshade hire and parking, and it is part of the Accessible Beach programme. The waves are often strong, making it popular for surfing and bodyboarding.
