About the beach

Praia da Rua 37 is on Espinho's urban seafront, south of Baía beach, with pale sand and a boardwalk with a cycle lane running the length of the seafront. At low tide it forms a wide, flat beach, and it has good surfing conditions. There are sunshades and chairs for hire, lifeguards in the bathing season (1 June to 20 September) and bathing equipment and assistance for people with reduced mobility. It holds a Blue Flag and Accessible Beach status in 2026. Water quality was rated Excellent in 2025.
