About the beach

An estuary beach on the shore of the Ria de Aveiro, south of Torreira by the EN 327 road, with calm lagoon water and muddy bottoms at low tide; jellyfish may be present. Popular with families, it has a café-bar overlooking the ria, a picnic area and a boatyard-museum where traditional boats are built and repaired. It is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
