About the beach

A very long beach stretching as far as the eye can see along the Mata Nacional do Urso protected forest, in the parish of Carriço. It sits well back from the road behind a line of dunes and is a quiet beach. It has lifeguards, a bar and open-air parking, and also draws surfers and bodyboarders.
