The beach of the fishing village of Leirosa, south of Figueira da Foz and beyond Costa de Lavos, from which it is separated by a sheltered, almost deserted stretch of dunes. The sand is very wide and the strong swell favours surfing and bodyboarding. It has lifeguards, showers, a bar and a restaurant, and is part of the Praia Acessível programme.
