Praia do Pedrógão is on the Leiria coastline, between Vieira de Leiria and Figueira da Foz, in a stretch of open Atlantic coast with broad beaches and frank swell. Water quality is Excellent. The village has the scale of a consolidated seaside resort, with a seafront that concentrates beach support services throughout the summer season. The wide sandy beach and regular swell attract surfers, and the pine forests that accompany the access routes reinforce the character of this coast. A Beira Litoral beach with a good balance of size, services and coastal character.
