A basalt rock natural pool in the parish of Vila Nova, on Terceira's north coast, next to a pebble beach surrounded by steep cliffs. Bathing is in the open sea, over a bottom of basalt slabs and pebbles. It has a pool open to the sea, a sunbathing area, changing rooms, a bar and parking, and was awarded a Blue Flag in 2025.
