A sandy beach on the bay of the town of Praia da Vitória, with more than half a kilometre of sand, described by VisitPortugal as the longest stretch on Terceira. Bathing is in the open sea over a sandy seabed. It has showers, bars, a restaurant, sunshade hire and parking, and is equipped to receive people with reduced mobility.
