About the beach

A sandy beach on the bay of Praia da Vitória, Terceira, in the parish of Santa Cruz, lying east of Praia Grande, from which it is separated by the marina. Bathing is in the open sea over a sandy bottom, with moderate exposure to the swell; the average water temperature in the bathing season is around 21 ºC. There are toilets, showers, a bar and a car park. It has held the Blue Flag in almost every year since 2017 and was awarded it again in 2026.
