About the beach

A sandy beach in the parish of Cabo da Praia, in the municipality of Praia da Vitória, with open-sea bathing over a sandy bottom. It has toilets, showers, a bar and parking, and is on the 2026 Praia Acessível (accessible beach) list. It is one of the spots on Terceira's east coast listed for surfing, especially in winter. It was awarded a Blue Flag in 2025.
