About the beach
An urban beach on the bay of Sines, part of the town and next to the fishing port, with a sandy frontage of around 400 metres. Its seafront promenade is used for walking and jogging. During the bathing season it has lifeguards and beach facilities, and it is on the 2026 Praia Acessível list. Water quality was rated good in 2025, with no days on which bathing was advised against.
