A beach south of São Torpes, on the coastal road between Sines and Porto Covo, with a sandy frontage of around 350 metres. To the south, a second cove sheltered from the wind by an orange-toned rock can be reached across the dunes at high tide or over the rocks at low tide. Water quality was rated good in 2025; in 2022 it was affected by discharges from the São Torpes campsite wastewater plant.
