About the beach
Also known as Vale Figueiros, it lies on the coast between São Torpes and Porto Covo, next to the road linking the two, with a sandy frontage of around 400 metres. It has good surfing conditions, with beach-break waves over a sandy bottom that also suit beginners. During the bathing season it has lifeguards and beach facilities; it was awarded a Blue Flag in 2025 and its water was rated excellent.
