About the beach

A small sandy beach with some rocks, set between cliffs about 350 m north of Porto Covo's Praia Grande. It has been an official naturist beach since 2002, by decision of Sines municipal assembly, and the council describes it as a private, peaceful spot. There is parking nearby and steps lead down. It lies within the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park, among Porto Covo's small coves, which the council warns have no permanent lifeguard cover. It is not an official bathing water: the water is not tested and there is no lifeguard.
