About the beach
A river beach on the Alqueva reservoir, about one kilometre from the town of Mourão, with around 320 metres of shoreline, 100 of them watched by lifeguards. It has a lawn with sunshades, a floating pool for children, a floating platform with diving tower and slide, a picnic area, a kiosk and parking. There is a ramp into the water and an amphibious wheelchair, and it is on the Praia Acessível list.
