A river beach on the Alvito reservoir, in the parish of Oriola, opened in August 2025, with about 100 metres of sand. It has lifeguards, toilets, changing rooms, a bar-restaurant and a beach football pitch, and is on the Praia Acessível list. In 2025, as a precaution, bathing was advised against for 54 days because of construction works.
