About the beach
A river beach on the Tapada Grande reservoir, next to Mina de São Domingos, within the Guadiana Valley Natural Park. It has a sandy beach with sunloungers and parasols, picnic tables, a children's playground, canoe and pedalo hire, and a café-restaurant a short walk away. There is an amphibious wheelchair, a large car park with spaces for people with reduced mobility, and it is on the Praia Acessível list.
