About the beach

A sandy beach beside the town of Monte Gordo, one of the Algarve's earliest tourist resorts, with a seafront avenue and colourful fishing boats in one section. The sea is known for being calm and mild. At either end there are dunes with boardwalks. It has restaurants, toilets, beach services, lifeguards in the bathing season and ample parking, and is a designated accessible beach.
