About the beach
Stretch of sand by the mouth of the Guadiana that runs for about 3 km to Monte Gordo, with calm, warm water. Behind the dunes lies the pine forest of the Mata Nacional das Dunas, crossed by the Caminho dos Três Pauzinhos walking and cycling path, along which a mini-train also runs. It has lifeguard cover, parking, a bar and restaurant, a Blue Flag and the Praia Acessível 2026 award.
