About the beach
A bathing area on the Odeleite dam reservoir, in the interior of the municipality of Castro Marim, officially opened in June 2026. It has a floating platform with two pools, one for children, reached by floating walkways, terraced sunbathing areas, a bar, changing rooms, parking and lifeguards. It includes a centre for non-motorised water sports.
