About the beach

A beach on the southern stretch of Costa da Caparica, between Cabana do Pescador and Morena; its northern end is also known as Praia da Princesa. A small saltwater lagoon forms at low tide, and the APA lists volleyball, surfing and windsurfing among the activities. In the bathing season (1 June to 30 September 2026) it has lifeguards and a concession with sunshade hire, toilets, several beach restaurants and bars, and paid parking. Water quality was rated Excellent in 2025.
