About the beach

Beach on the Costa da Caparica, on the continuous dune-backed strand that runs south of the town towards Fonte da Telha, between Praia do Infante and Praia da Morena. The environment agency (APA) describes it as a calm beach popular above all with young people, with a surf and windsurf school; behind the sand a dune about 3 m high holds the beach bars. Turismo de Portugal highlights its lively café terraces. Water quality rated Excellent in 2025; Blue Flag in 2026.
