About the beach

One of the Costa da Caparica beaches, part of a continuous stretch of sand about 25 km long. It has fine white sand and a dune ridge running along the beach, with woodland to the east. The sea is usually rough and popular with surfers, and the beach tends to be less crowded than neighbouring Sereia and Morena. It is lifeguarded during the bathing season.
