About the beach

A sheltered bay north of Ericeira, near Ribamar, whose wave is part of the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve, recognised in 2011. It offers conditions for surfing and bodyboarding and is known for its fish and seafood restaurants. It has lifeguards, sunshade hire, showers, parking, a bar and a restaurant, and is part of the Praia Acessível programme.
