Cepães beach, in Marinhas, has its upper sand nestled between dunes, with rocky outcrops and plenty of pebbles left by coastal erosion. In the bathing season it has lifeguards and a concession area with beach tents for hire, a restaurant, a bar, toilets and showers, plus parking with reserved bays and a free-to-use amphibious wheelchair. It is part of the 2026 Accessible Beach programme and can be reached on the Ecovia do Litoral Norte coastal path. Water quality was rated Excellent in 2025.
