About the beach
Belinho beach is a very long beach in the north of Esposende municipality, between São Bartolomeu do Mar and the mouth of the Neiva, set in a dune system, with a short strip of sand, plenty of rounded pebbles and a rocky seabed that forms natural pools. It is reached from the EN13 and Avenida da Praia, with the last stretch on a dirt road, and there is a campsite nearby. Esposende council suggests it for families, sport fishing and walking routes. It is not an official bathing water: the water is not tested and there is no lifeguard.
