About the beach
An urban fine-sand beach in Chafé, continuing the long stretch of sand that runs from Rodanho, with a narrow beach and a dune system affected by severe erosion. At the southern end (Amorosa Velha) there is a groyne built after the storms of 1978/1979. The many rocks form pools at low tide, where limpets, mussels, crabs and starfish can be seen. It is served by bus.
