In Fuseta, in the municipality of Olhão, the beach by the village is Fuseta-Ria, also known as Praia dos Tesos: a sandy cove right below the village, facing an arm of the Ria Formosa, with calm, warm water and access on foot. It is lifeguarded from 1 June to 30 September 2026 and holds Accessible Beach status for 2026. Fuseta's other bathing area, Fuseta-Mar, lies at the eastern tip of Ilha da Armona and is reached by the scheduled boats from the quay; its season is the same. Regional trains on the Algarve line stop at Fuseta-A.
