About the beach
Bathing area on the lagoon side of Armona Island, by the quay where the boats from Olhão arrive after a 15 to 20-minute crossing. The water in the channel is calmer and clearer than the sea; the ocean beach is on the other side of the island, about 1.5 km away through the village and the dunes. The island is car-free and has a campsite.
