About the beach
A fort divides the beach into two parts: to the south, a rocky area very rich in iodine, sought out for its therapeutic properties; to the north, a wide stretch of sand that runs for several kilometres towards Peniche. The strong swell draws surfers and windsurfers. It has lifeguards, sunshade hire, showers, parking, a bar and a restaurant.
