About the beach
Bathing area where the Piódão and Chãs d'Égua streams meet, in the Serra do Açor, near the village of Chãs d'Égua and close to Piódão. A small dam forms the pool, framed by schist, a stone bridge and a recently renovated wooden suspension footbridge. There is no lifeguard. From 1 to 15 July 2026 bathing was advised against as a precaution because of works.
