About the beach

River beach on the right bank of the Alvoco stream, next to a medieval bridge and with views of the Serra da Estrela. It has a lifeguard in the bathing season, ramps down to the water and an amphibious wheelchair, a bar serving meals with a terrace, a playground, a tree-shaded picnic area with barbecues and a first-aid post.
