About the beach
A paid bathing complex on the north coast, next to the church of Ponta Delgada, in a small bay with a long fishing tradition. It has two saltwater pools, for adults and children, a sun terrace, a bar with terrace, changing rooms, first aid and access for people with reduced mobility, plus a small pebble and dark-sand beach protected by a breakwater. It reopened for the season on 15 June 2026.
