A small north-coast beach next to the village of Seixal, sheltered in a cove between the cliff and basalt outcrops, with black sand, pebbles and rock. It is also known as Praia da Jamaica, after the palm trees along the promenade. It is not lifeguarded and the sea can bring strong waves and currents, so swimming is advised only when the sea is calm.
