About the beach

Small beach in Santa Cruz, south of the village centre, with fine white sand tucked between high cliffs that form a little bay. There is a beach café at the foot of the cliff and, according to Torres Vedras council, small natural rock pools. It is one of the named beaches into which the long Santa Cruz shoreline is divided (Navio, Mirante, Pisão, Física, Centro, Formosa, Santa Helena). Water quality rated Excellent in 2025; Blue Flag in 2026.
