About the beach

A beach in the parish of Silveira, south of Santa Cruz, with about 1.1 km of sand. To the north, houses on the clifftop mingle with dune land; in the centre and south a dune ridge dominates, ending at the mouth of the river Sizandro. It is very popular with surfers and is on the 2026 'Accessible Beach, Beach for All!' list.
