A small cove in Porches, between Praia da Cova Redonda and Praia do Vale do Olival. The sand is the result of beach nourishment and the building of a jetty; before that there was hardly any. Access is through the holiday resort that surrounds the cove: a stone path leads to a marked clifftop trail, from which a narrow staircase cut into the rock, with marine fossils on show, goes down to the beach. It is a designated swimming beach with a lifeguard in the bathing season and shares its bathing water with Cova Redonda. Water quality was rated Excellent in 2025.
