Praia de Armação de Pêra is one of the longest beaches on the central Algarve — a wide, well-equipped sandy stretch directly connected to the seafront of the resort town. Water quality is Excellent. The beach has an urban character with full support infrastructure available nearby. Beyond the main sandy beach, the adjacent coast provides access to some of the most photographed sea caves and rock formations of the central Algarve. It is a beach with the capacity to absorb large numbers of visitors, making it popular with families and group travellers.
