A golden-sand beach in the municipality of Lagoa, west of Armação de Pêra beach (Silves), from which it is separated by a rock formation. The sand, with a frontage of about 250 m, is wide and backed by deeply gullied, fragile cliffs, so keep your distance because of falling rocks; a stream reaches the beach. A cliff-top trail heads west towards Praia dos Beijinhos. There are restaurants on the sand and a lifeguard in summer.
