A small beach in Lagos, just south of Praia da Batata and a few minutes' walk from the historic centre. Rock formations running out into the sea shelter the sand and keep the water calm. It has no access of its own: you reach it through a hand-dug tunnel in the cliff from Praia da Batata. A second tunnel, to the south, leads to a small cove where an arched bridge links a sea stack to the shore, the beach's best-known view. It is not an official bathing water: the water is not tested and there is no lifeguard.
