A pebble beach at the eastern end of Paul do Mar, next to the harbour, with traditional fishing boats in view and the village sheltered to the north by high cliffs. In July the Festa da Lapa draws many visitors. There is no lifeguard assigned; there are showers and, nearby, bars and restaurants.
