A beach of rounded basalt pebbles at the eastern end of Jardim do Mar, near the village centre, on a fajã sheltered by rocky cliffs. It has a jetty and a ramp down into the sea. It is a well-known surf spot, with waves suited to experienced surfers, and has hosted national and international competitions. There is no lifeguard assigned.
