About the beach

Marreco beach lies between Agudela and Perafita and forms a small sheltered bay, with coarse sand and rocks along the waterline that leave pools children like to explore as the tide changes. It keeps its link to traditional fishing and is also popular with anglers. In the bathing season it has lifeguards, sunshades and loungers for hire, a bar, a restaurant, toilets, showers, free parking and an amphibious wheelchair. Unir buses 5001, 5004 and 5020 serve it. It holds a Blue Flag and Accessible Beach status in 2026. Water quality was rated Excellent in 2025.
