About the beach
Quebrada is a small cove of coarse sand on Avenida Marginal da Agudela, in Lavra, between Agudela and Marreco beaches, surrounded by fishermen's houses and native vegetation, with traditional windbreak tents. There are rocks by the bathing area and the sand shelves into the water, so take care when diving in. In the bathing season it has lifeguards, a bar, toilets, showers, free parking and an amphibious wheelchair; Unir buses 5001 and 5004 serve it. It holds a Blue Flag and Accessible Beach status in 2026. Water quality was rated Excellent in 2025.
