About the beach

A long stretch of white sand with rocky outcrops at the water's edge and a dune ridge crossed by wooden boardwalks. It includes the neighbouring beaches of Pedras do Corgo, Quebrada and Marreco, where the rocks form small pools popular with children; Marreco also draws anglers. Agudela has a bar, restaurant, toilets, free parking and an amphibious wheelchair. In late August 2026, bathing was advised against because of microbiological contamination.
