Officially Praia das Pedras do Funtão, Funtão beach is in Lavra, between Angeiras and Pedras Brancas. It has a wide stretch of white sand with few rocks and a slope at the water's edge, and the sea tends to be rough, so take care. Facilities include toilets, showers, foot taps and drinking fountains, leisure areas and free marked parking with bays for disabled drivers. It is on the 2026 Accessible Beach list and is served by UNIR buses 5001, 5019 and 5020.
